Project Engineer (Defense)

Location: Singapore; frequent in-office work and dynamic operational environments

What you will do

• Lead planning and execution of technical tasks across software, mechanical, and operations teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities and ensure project and contract technical requirements are met.
• Track project progress, timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor compliance with technical specifications and support integration between system components.
• Prepare technical reports, updates, presentations, meeting minutes, and executive-level insights.
• Identify technical risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support testing, validation, and deployment readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering, with a background in Business or a related course.
• 0–3 years of experience in engineering, project coordination, or technical program management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and align them with project deliverables.
• Ability to identify risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Experience in documentation, stakeholder communication, and meeting facilitation.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Excel, Notion, Jira, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with engineering workflows, testing processes, or the product development lifecycle.
