Project Management Intern (Maritime Robotics)

What you will do

• Assist the Project Manager with project preparation, execution, and closeout to support on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, track project progress, and maintain documentation and status reports.
• Support resource allocation for project execution and manage external vendors with the Operations Team.
• Handle a mini project under Project Manager supervision.
• Support or lead operational excellence initiatives from ideation through rollout.
• Support pre-project and post-project customer activities that contribute to revenue generation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Operations or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to learn independently, work effectively in a team, and work independently.
• Curiosity, a positive learning mindset, and the ability to absorb knowledge quickly to overcome challenges.
• Ability to assess risks and make time-critical decisions and tradeoffs in imperfect scenarios.
• Interest in improving processes and collaborating with members of other sub-teams.

Nice to have

• Engineering background in marine, industrial, civil, mechanical, or related offshore fields.
• Current enrollment in a Diploma or Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Asana, Trello, Notion, or Monday.com.
• Experience coordinating group projects, student clubs, or events.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts, including timelines, risks, and stakeholders.
• Interest in maritime robotics.
