GPS Strategy & Business Development Project Leader (Private Banking)

What you will do

• Plan, manage, and lead strategic projects from initiation through completion in line with business strategy, purpose, and goals.
• Drive global strategic growth initiatives and partner with GPS business owners to identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities and growth plans.
• Support strategic partnerships, joint ventures, M&A, and other inorganic business opportunities from a GPS perspective.
• Coordinate cross-unit collaboration and support project and change management activities, including front-to-back rollout of new business projects outside the Agile Release Train.
• Synthesise complex data and qualitative insights into strategy papers, market analyses, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging technologies, innovations, disruptions, and market trends; provide updates to management committees and support compliance and risk management.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including experience as a team leader with a proven leadership track record in the financial industry.
• 10 years or more of private banking knowledge and experience.
• Relevant higher education and professional background.
• Strong financial analytical skills.
• Strong commercial judgement, business acumen, and broad understanding of financial markets and products.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, interpersonal, communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team, manage diverse internal and external stakeholders, make difficult decisions, work under pressure, and communicate a clear vision.
• Commitment to legal, regulatory, compliance, risk management, integrity, fair dealing, due care, diligence, competence, and continuous development standards.
