Sort and Die Prep Quality and Reliability Engineer (Silicon Manufacturing)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

What you will do

• Lead and manage manufacturing quality and reliability engineers supporting advanced silicon product development and ramp.
• Oversee product health indicators and optimize performance against cost, ramp, and volume targets.
• Develop systems to detect, contain, assess, and resolve product excursions, and lead material review board processes.
• Drive continuous process improvement and collaborate with product engineering teams to improve designs, processes, systems, and reliability.
• Represent the quality and reliability function in product development forums and provide recommendations on system, process, and product integrity.
• Build strategies for process integration and yield engineering, establish quality programs, and maintain team accountability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a specialized field and 3+ years of professional experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience, or a PhD with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in manufacturing quality processes, systems implementation, and reliability engineering practices.
• Knowledge of advanced silicon technologies and product health metric optimization.
• Experience with process improvement programs and excursion management systems.
