MTS Engineer - Ecosystem IP Quality (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform incoming IP quality assurance against predefined checklists, verify IP deliverables against contracts, and issue approval or non-conformance certificates.
• Qualify IP merge kits and support customer tape-out activities across evolving PDK and process updates.
• Define IP qualification and regression test cases, perform physical verification including DRC, LVS, DFM, PEX extraction, and SPICE simulation, and review results against passing criteria.
• Assess the impact of PDK updates, consolidate assessment results, and drive technical issue resolution with external IP providers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain IP databases, catalogs, regression records, SOP documentation, waiver documents, and assessment reports.
• Support scripting and automation, customer technical queries, audits, and compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the IC design field.
• Knowledge of the RTL-to-GDS flow and analog simulation.
• Proficiency in layout design and DRC, DFM, and LVS debugging.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard CAD tools.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation languages, or AI tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with library compiler, PrimeTime, or VCS tools.
