Software Engineer SME (Vue)

Location: Onsite in Vienna, VA / Tyson's, VA, on customer site; US citizenship and current TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Salary: $162,037–$219,227 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and data systems across complex mission environments.
• Build scalable backend systems and full-stack applications using Python, Node.js, Vue.js, and Rails.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, data ingestion pipelines, AWS S3 workflows, and integrations with authoritative data repositories.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, deployment, security checks, and performance validation.
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for packaging, orchestration, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
• Participate in Agile planning and provide technical leadership across delivery teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Current TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
• US citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Python, Node.js, Vue.js, and Rails for scalable backend systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, database schema design, queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines, AWS S3 data workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Experience integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems and working in Agile delivery environments.
