Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with office hubs in San Francisco, New York, and Toronto.

Salary: SF/NY $205,000–$215,000 USD base salary plus equity; Toronto CA$210,000–CA$270,000 base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to build end-to-end product features.
• Lead projects from early design through implementation, delivery, and iteration.
• Shape technical systems, internal tools, and engineering practices as the team scales.
• Balance delivery speed with quality and long-term maintainability.
• Support and mentor teammates while contributing to an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

• Deep experience in either frontend development with JavaScript, React, or React Native, or backend development with Python, with the ability to work effectively across the stack.
• Experience leading projects or owning product areas end-to-end.
• Strong product intuition and the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration across disciplines.
• Interest in growing both systems and people on a mission-driven team.
