Salary: US Tier 1 $152,000–$228,000; US Tier 2 $137,000–$205,000; US Tier 3 $122,000–$182,000 annually

What you will do

• Create agentic capabilities and frameworks for monitoring, guardrailing, evaluation, and effective collaboration between agents.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model fine-tuning using current machine learning frameworks.
• Work with Product and Research to translate AI research into applicable features and software engineering projects.
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes and features based on feedback and evolving product needs.
• Contribute production-ready code across engineering to deliver scalable and reliable software.
• Track emerging agentic developments and explore new opportunities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with exposure to AI/ML.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security.
• Strong programming skills in Python and relevant machine learning and/or agentic frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with end-to-end ownership while delivering real-world outcomes.
• Ability to learn additional programming languages and technologies as needed to ship scalable and reliable software.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field focused on AI/ML or a similar discipline.
• Hands-on experience with agent orchestration, agent harnesses, agent teams, jailbreaking or prompt injection, red teaming, data poisoning or evasion attacks, secure model deployment or sandboxing, or detection and monitoring for AI misuse.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience in cybersecurity.
