Tech Lead - React & Python (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship. Requires travel to client sites within the U.S.; travel expenses are covered.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide technical and line-management leadership to development teams.
• Take responsibility for successful project delivery and resolve blockers proactively.
• Work directly with clients to translate business and technical requirements into technical briefs.
• Shape architectural decisions focused on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Provide project updates to clients and leadership to support clear decision-making.

Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience plus 2+ years leading projects and mentoring as a Technical Lead.
• Professional experience with Python and React.
• Experience with AI application development and agentic frameworks or platforms such as LangGraph and Agentspace.
• Experience working directly with clients or customers to understand technical requirements.
• Strong CI/CD experience, including hands-on Terraform, Helm, and other cloud-native infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Experience leading software engineering teams through technical delivery, with direct line-management or mentoring experience.
• Deep understanding of agile ways of working, best practices, design patterns, test-driven development, testing best practices, and version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of monitoring, performance testing, security, accessibility, and GDPR.
• Empathy and people skills.
• United States location and work authorization without visa sponsorship.

• 90-minute Technical Lead Assessment via Zoom covering architecture design, technical implementation, code standards, and feedback.
• An additional client interview may be required depending on the project.
