Production Engineering Specialist (Manufacturing Automation)

Location: Onsite in New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States. Candidates must already have work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the US.

hirify.global develops high-power motors, drives, generators, power conversion, and packaged solutions for mission-critical industrial operations.

What you will do

• Support safety initiatives by identifying hazards, recommending improvements, redesigning work cells, and assisting with ergonomic assessments.
• Support quality activities, including work instructions, PFMEAs, error proofing, ECNs, and compliance with quality management system requirements.
• Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement projects focused on capacity, cost, lean manufacturing, and daily operations.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to execute projects, track progress, implement changes, and sustain results.
• Evaluate and implement manufacturing automation technologies, including robotics, vision systems, AGVs, and control systems.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and support related documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations role.
• Working knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP.
• Existing US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
