What you will do

• Execute automation projects from requirements through design, testing, implementation, and deployment.
• Develop scripts and software programs that automate manufacturing processes and integrate equipment, hardware, and related systems.
• Build, configure, test, and deploy robotic solutions and support standardized automation equipment and safety assessments.
• Develop and qualify manufacturing processes, measurement systems, testing equipment, and automation technologies.
• Analyze process and equipment data, perform statistical analysis, document findings, and communicate recommendations.
• Provide sustaining engineering support, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, support vendors and technicians, and improve reliability, consistency, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, automation systems, robotics, and engineering principles.
• Programming or scripting skills for developing software and hardware integration solutions.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret process and equipment data, including statistical analysis and analytical reporting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely assemble, disassemble, and work with delicate precision components.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues using logical, structured, and data-driven methods.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, equipment requirements, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage engineering activities and changing priorities while meeting project objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoML, automation development, automation scripting, automation software, deployment automation, factory automation, process automation, process measurement, process monitoring, process simplification, process flow diagrams, and process methodologies.
