Senior People Partner (Veterinary Healthcare)

Location: Remote in the US; remote-first, with a hybrid arrangement for candidates based in San Francisco. Employment options and benefits are also described for candidates located in Canada.

Salary: $110,000–$200,000 USD annually, depending on geographic tier, skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and executives on people strategies, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and organizational design.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, performance review cycles, calibration sessions, and performance management improvements.
• Develop leadership development, manager effectiveness, career pathing, growth, and performance coaching programs.
• Own employee relations, investigate and resolve complex workplace concerns, complaints, conflicts, and sensitive cases.
• Develop ER policies and procedures, partner with legal counsel on employment matters, and lead engagement action planning.
• Drive DEI initiatives and use performance data, HR metrics, and reporting to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in a senior HRBP or strategic partner role with people management.
• Experience owning and managing employee relations programs and complex ER cases.
• Expertise designing and implementing performance management systems and frameworks.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect people strategies with business outcomes.
• Extensive experience partnering with senior leadership and executives on organizational development initiatives.
• Track record of successful change management and transformation projects.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
