Physical Security Systems Manager

Location: On-site in Torrance, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Mesa, AZ, with travel of up to 30% to hirify.global sites. The position is associated with Los Angeles, CA and the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. U.S. work authorization or eligibility under ITAR export regulations is required.

Salary: $200,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Deliver physical security systems for new facilities from security design input on construction drawings through installation and commissioning.
• Define security systems standards by site type, including door hardware and commissioning requirements.
• Lead multi-site migration to an enterprise access control platform and roll out a video management system across facilities.
• Manage security integrators and systems vendors across multiple concurrent builds, enforcing scope, schedules, and standards.
• Administer and integrate access control, video, visitor management, and mass notification systems.
• Partner with IT, Information Security, Facilities, and the Facility Security Officer on networked devices, door schedules, and controlled-area requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, or managing enterprise physical security systems, including access control and video management platforms.
• Hands-on experience deploying and administering Lenel in an enterprise, multi-site environment.
• Experience with construction projects, including reading drawings and working with architects, general contractors, and integrators.
• Demonstrated ability to hold integrators and contractors accountable, including rejecting work that does not meet specifications.
• Experience writing system standards, specifications, and commissioning procedures.
• Working knowledge of networking and ability to partner with IT and Information Security teams.
• Must meet applicable U.S. Government export-control requirements under ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience leading an access control platform migration across multiple sites.
• Experience with PSIM platforms or perimeter detection systems.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing sites, including designing export-controlled areas.
• PSP certification.
