Staff Technical Project Manager (Defense)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite. Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain a security clearance. Travel is approximately 10%.

Salary: $105,000–$180,000 base annually, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own IT projects from planning through execution, including schedules, plans, budgets, status tracking, and spend management.
• Gather and document requirements and create project charters, plans, communications, and other project documentation.
• Manage stakeholder and executive communications, produce weekly status reports, maintain RAID logs, and facilitate meetings.
• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and other teams to coordinate concurrent projects and keep delivery on schedule.
• Partner with project managers and stay aligned with the Staff Security Project Manager on new real estate builds.
• Coordinate work across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Bachelor’s degree and an active PMP certification.
• Track record of owning multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closure, including project charters, schedules, plans, budgets, and project documentation.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including status reporting and executive communication.
• Experience working with IT and cybersecurity teams.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira, plus familiarity with different AI platforms.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
