Staff Security Project Manager

Location: Washington, DC; onsite. Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain a security clearance. Travel up to 20%.

Salary: $105,000–$180,000 base annually, excluding bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own project schedules, plans, budgets, status tracking, and spend across concurrent security projects.
• Create project charters, plans, communications, status reports, RAID logs, and other project documentation.
• Lead vendor sourcing and contracting, including RFPs, proposal evaluation, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Oversee design consultants, systems integrators, and contractors through construction administration, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate site visits, stakeholder and executive communications, meetings, contractors, and cross-functional work with IT and other project managers.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple time zones and identify challenges and opportunities for systems technology implementation.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person, hold a bachelor’s degree, have an active PMP, and be able to obtain a security clearance.
• Track record of owning multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closure, including charters, schedules, plans, budgets, and documentation.
• Experience leading vendor sourcing and contracting, including RFPs, proposal evaluation, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Experience overseeing design consultants, integrators, and contractors through construction administration, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong budget and stakeholder management skills, including status reporting and executive communication.
• Experience with document control, change management, and QA/QC governance.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira, with familiarity with different AI platforms.
• Military or defense industry experience.

• Experience with enterprise security systems, including access control, video, intercom, radio, and visitor management.
• Experience delivering projects across international sites and time zones.
