Senior Events Operations Manager

Location: Office-based at the San Francisco, California HQ office, United States. Frequent international travel and work during early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required during event cycles.

Salary: $131,836–$164,795 USD annually, plus equity and subsidized benefits.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end operations for conferences, owned experiences, field programs, executive engagements, and internal events.
• Create workback plans, run-of-show documents, staffing plans, production schedules, contingency plans, and operational standards.
• Coordinate registration, attendee communications, food and beverage, audiovisual production, transportation, security, executive logistics, and on-site delivery.
• Build portfolio systems covering event intake, approvals, calendars, templates, budgets, milestones, ownership, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Manage vendors, agencies, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, forecasting, inventory, shipping, permits, insurance, compliance, and event risk.
• Partner with marketing, sales, executive operations, communications, product marketing, people, finance, legal, and procurement teams to measure results and improve future programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in event operations, experiential production, or event marketing in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• End-to-end experience delivering complex events, executive programs, conferences, field events, internal meetings, and multi-vendor productions.
• Strong project management skills covering timelines, budgets, logistics, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience managing agencies and vendors, including scopes of work, contracts, production schedules, invoices, and on-site teams.
• Strong financial discipline with experience in budget tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and procurement workflows.
• Ability to stay composed under pressure, resolve issues independently, and travel frequently, including internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global event portfolios across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Familiarity with event platforms, project management tools, CRM or marketing automation systems, and lead capture integrations.
• Experience with executive briefing centers, customer advisory boards, sales kickoffs, or large-scale flagship events.
• Background in AI, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or energy.
