Talent Acquisition Manager, Operations (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid role in Chicago, Illinois, United States. No immigration sponsorship or transfer is available.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year in Illinois.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to forecast headcount needs, set expectations, and align hiring priorities.
• Standardize recruitment workflows, ATS processes, and interview practices to improve hiring speed, equity, and candidate experience.
• Use recruiting analytics, including Time-to-Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate, and Funnel Conversion, to influence stakeholders and improve hiring operations.
• Build and scale talent acquisition strategies across the Operations business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 5 years of recruiting experience and at least 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Proven experience using data to drive recruitment strategy and influence business leaders.
• Experience building, managing, and hiring teams.
• Experience working within a transportation or logistics company and knowledge of logistics operations departments.

Nice to have

• Project management ability, including delivery of work streams within high-priority projects.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and hiring platforms such as Greenhouse, Oracle, and LinkedIn Talent Insights.
• Expertise in attracting, leading, motivating, and inspiring recruiter teams.
• Experience building trust-based, value-added relationships globally.
• Ability to solve problems and think creatively.
