Wage Agency Instructor - Region 2 Fire Extension

Location: Telecommuter within Texas Region 2; must reside in Texas Region 2. Job location: College Station, Texas.

Salary: $45.00 per hour.

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service provides emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance, including fire and rescue, infrastructure and safety, law enforcement, cybersecurity, economic and workforce development, and homeland security.

What you will do

• Deliver training for the TEEX Extension Program within Texas Region 2.
• Coordinate and deliver classes, conferences, area schools, and other special training programs.
• Deliver National Fire Academy hand-off and field delivery courses.
• Support additional training programs as assigned and report to the Training Coordinator.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of experience in Emergency Services, including fire/rescue, hazardous materials, EMS, emergency management, or law enforcement.
• One year of experience in adult education and/or training.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Certified Instructor through TCFP, SFFMA, TCOLE, DSHS, TDEM, or an equivalent certifying organization.
