AP Seminar Teacher (Remote)

Location: United States, fully remote; no travel required

What you will do

• Teach AP Seminar and/or AP Research remotely to a small class of students.
• Deliver 2–3 hours of live instruction each week during the academic year.
• Guide students through AP Capstone performance tasks, including research essays, academic papers, and presentations.
• Create asynchronous learning activities and assignments that support course progress and completion.
• Use the LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to deliver lessons.
• Teach with proven methods and materials while following official AP Capstone course guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Current College Board AP Seminar and/or AP Research certification, including completion of required College Board training.
• Direct experience teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research through the College Board AP Capstone program.
• Strong knowledge of College Board scoring rubrics, performance task requirements, and AP Digital Portfolio submission processes.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research in a virtual or online setting.
