AP Seminar Teacher (Remote) (AP Capstone)

Location: Fully remote, United States; no travel required.

What you will do

• Teach AP Seminar and/or AP Research remotely to a small class of high school students.
• Deliver 2–3 hours of live instruction each week during the academic year.
• Guide students through AP Capstone performance tasks, including the Individual Research-Based Essay and Presentation, Team Multimedia Presentation, and/or AP Research Academic Paper and Presentation.
• Create asynchronous learning activities and assignments covering AP course content and required components.
• Use the LMS, College Board resources, Zoom, and proven teaching methods and materials within the official AP Capstone course guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Current, up-to-date College Board AP Seminar/AP Research certification, including completion of required College Board training.
• Direct experience teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research through the College Board AP Capstone program.
• Strong working knowledge of College Board scoring rubrics, performance task requirements, and submission processes via the AP Digital Portfolio.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience teaching AP Seminar and/or AP Research in a virtual or online setting.
