What you will do

• Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support scalable ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable ServiceNow solutions, emphasizing configuration over customization and adoption of platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain secure integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and appropriate authentication methods.
• Manage releases and platform lifecycle activities, including deployments, update sets, application maintenance, release promotion, validation, upgrades, and change governance.
• Develop test plans, perform unit and regression testing, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and participate in rotational after-hours support.
• Collaborate with business, technical, security, governance, external, and offshore teams on planning, code reviews, Agile/Scrum delivery, compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field; a minimum of 4 years of industry-related experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration, including hands-on ITSM and SPM experience and support for ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
• ServiceNow platform administration and configuration, including applications, users, roles, groups, access controls, and platform settings.
• ServiceNow application development with JavaScript, client-side and server-side scripting, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and other core platform components.
• Service Catalog and Service Portal development.
• ServiceNow reporting and dashboard development, including creating, configuring, and maintaining reports and dashboards.
• Flow Designer and process automation.
• ServiceNow development and platform architecture best practices, including configuration over customization.
• Service management, integrations, and platform security experience, including ITSM and ITIL principles; Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog concepts; REST and SOAP APIs; JSON and XML; IntegrationHub; MID Server; and OAuth or other authentication methods.

• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or other relevant certifications.
• Advanced ServiceNow capabilities including custom application development, CSM, CMDB, Employee Center, UI Builder, Next Experience, ServiceNow Mobile, AI/automation, analytics/reporting, and emerging platform features.
• Advanced analytics, reporting, dashboards, Platform Analytics, Performance Analytics indicators, KPIs, and data visualization experience.
• Enterprise integrations and data solutions involving REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Workflow Data Fabric, JSON/XML, OAuth, Import Sets, Transform Maps, secure data exchange, and data migration.
• Modern development and delivery practices including AngularJS, front-end development, Automated Test Framework, automated regression testing, Git, Azure DevOps or similar tools, Agile/Scrum, technical estimation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, continuous learning, and sustainable solution improvement.
• Advanced ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management capabilities, including resource management, strategic planning, and collaborative work management.
