Salary: $93,400–$143,800 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States of America candidates.

What you will do

• Design software systems across multiple platform types and contribute to robust, high-performance architectures.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Develop limited enhancements and programming changes for systems software, including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation; debug code and recommend improvements.
• Improve service lifecycles from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on requirements, integration, project progress, issue resolution, capacity planning, and launch reviews.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in systems engineering, computer programming, or a related field; an advanced degree with little or no work experience may be accepted.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, software development, software engineering, debugging, automation, scalability, and full-stack development.
• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and system integration.
• Programming knowledge in C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python, plus familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.

Nice to have

• Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE) certification.
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
