Senior Network Security & Cloud Developer (Cloud Security)

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE office in the United States; salary information specifies California.

Salary: USD 155,500–315,000 annual base salary in California, with possible variable incentives.

What you will do

• Design and develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality software across cloud platforms and networking devices.
• Build end-to-end cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications and customer problems.
• Prototype, design, implement, deploy, monitor, operate, and support cloud engagements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and create integration plans aligned with technology roadmaps and business value.
• Review designs and project activities for compliance with development standards, improving product quality and reducing failure risk.
• Mentor engineers and analyze complex application, system administration, and network concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Typically 8+ years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and one of Python, Golang, or Java.
• Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms.
• Experience with cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, firewalls, VPNs, and in-plane switching systems.
• Knowledge of embedded networking, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker containers, Agile development, and CI/CD environments.
