Enterprise Architect II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States; final interview round onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Limited travel required.

What you will do

• Provide direction, guidance, and definition for enterprise architecture supporting corporate business strategies.
• Lead enterprise architecture strategies and best practices, including business process design, solution development, information gathering, and technology utilization.
• Guide enterprise architects in defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, enterprise profiles, and segment architecture.
• Manage architecture risks, solve complex enterprise architecture issues, and address stakeholder requirements through consultation.
• Direct baseline, target, roadmap, transition planning, system and security management, and segment architecture development.
• Build and maintain the architecture portfolio, translating business strategies into IT investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. Equivalent experience is calculated as one year of technical experience for each requested year of college.
• At least 5 years of experience as an individual contributor leading a team in the design and implementation of application and integration, data, technology, and/or security architecture.
• Experience in the payer-provider space.
• Strong enterprise architecture and communication skills.
• Interoperability leadership experience with HL7 and FHIR.
• Strong integration expertise across APIs and data streaming.
• Experience with GraphQL, graph databases, and other database platforms.
• Adaptability and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, domains, and assignments.
