Associate Product Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own, write, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, business teams, and stakeholders to align feature development with business needs and technical feasibility.
• Support product roadmaps, sprint planning, backlog grooming, agile ceremonies, and iterative delivery.
• Conduct competitive analysis and user research, define product performance metrics, and use data to drive improvements.
• Contribute to product governance, process, tooling, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support client engagements, scope expansion opportunities, follow-on work, and materials for showcases, case studies, feedback summaries, and product previews.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product management or a related role such as business analyst or product owner.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and defining “done” for development teams.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, UX designers, and stakeholders while balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to inform product decisions and improve performance.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools for product discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, and team productivity.
