Hardware Engineer - New Grad (Analog Circuits)

What you will do

• Design complete and detailed analog blocks under the guidance of a senior analog design engineer.
• Develop mixed-signal IP blocks for high-speed DAC and ADC circuits, SERDES solutions, transimpedance amplifiers, modulator drivers, and precision analog control and monitoring circuits.
• Collaborate with layout engineers on implementation through full GDSII delivery to the integration partner.
• Characterize analog circuits in the lab from test chips through full product implementation.
• Provide status updates, participate in team meetings, and share technical experience with the group.

Requirements

• Working toward completion of a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or another applicable scientific field.
• Previous internship, co-op, or applied project experience relevant to the role.
• Experience leading designs in advanced BiCMOS and/or CMOS technology.
• Ability to address technical problems methodically.
• Excellent organization and written and oral English interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with applicable analog design tools from Cadence, Mentor, and Synopsys, such as Virtuoso, Calibre, STAR-RC, and MMSIM.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2.5D or 3D electromagnetic tools such as HFSS or EMX.
• Experience with mixed-signal design validation using advanced probing and test equipment.
