Risk Adjustment Operations Senior Project Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Build and maintain vendor-level pacing trackers covering project progress, milestones, timelines, throughput, capacity, utilization, and risk indicators.
• Develop multi-platform forecasting, capacity planning, headcount, downtime, idle-time, staffing, and what-if models across concurrent projects.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, standardized templates, and data sources using Excel, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
• Analyze trends, bottlenecks, root causes, variances, vendor performance, and project risks; recommend corrective actions and escalate concerns proactively.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, project managers, vendor management, and other stakeholders to align assumptions, review staffing plans, and improve forecasting methodologies.
• Present pacing, forecasting, capacity, and ad hoc analysis findings to leadership and maintain documentation and data integrity for auditability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least five years of equivalent experience in project analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial or operational modeling.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Demonstrated experience building forecasting and/or capacity planning models and partnering with Finance or FP&A teams on headcount and capacity modeling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, adjust the work schedule to departmental needs, follow instructions, meet deadlines, analyze root causes, and work independently.
• Working knowledge of business use of computer hardware and software to support data effectiveness, quality, and security.

Nice to have

• Experience with risk adjustment methodologies.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Formal project planning or project management experience or certification such as PMP or CAPM.
• SQL or other data querying experience.
