Data Analyst III - Consulting (Healthcare)

Location: Office-based or remote within the USA; willingness to travel up to 30% annually.

Salary: $74,000–$98,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Analyze and reconcile customer account data across systems, identifying duplicates, unmatched records, and data quality issues.
• Analyze purchasing activity, transaction volumes, customer connectivity, contact data, registration progress, and communication results to support onboarding plans and prioritization.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards measuring onboarding, transaction acceptance, adoption, utilization, and exceptions.
• Prepare analytical summaries, presentations, and project deliverables for multiple concurrent consulting engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to validate data, investigate discrepancies, resolve reporting issues, and support system implementations, integrations, migrations, and business transitions.
• Communicate findings to internal stakeholders and customers, standardize reporting templates, document analytical methods, and identify efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, reporting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, problem-solving ability, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation.
• Experience analyzing large or complex data sets and identifying actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• 2–3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience working with healthcare providers, suppliers, distributors, and group purchasing organizations.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and their use in business operations and process improvement.
• Customer-focused approach, adaptability, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of e-commerce concepts and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and transformation.
