Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator (Medical Devices)

Annual salary: $105,000.00–$115,000.00

hirify.global develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. The Acute Care Technology division serves EMS, hospital, public safety, and military customers globally.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Director of Environment, Safety & Health to implement ESH strategies across the organization.
• Maintain workplace safety through orientations, training, emergency preparedness, hazardous-material disposal procedures, equipment-operation guidance, and protective-equipment practices.
• Lead site risk assessment and reduction activities, ESH inspections, and corrective-action programs.
• Manage incident response, determine root causes, analyze accident data, and prepare required reports.
• Coordinate safety committees and emergency response teams, provide technical guidance, and liaise with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Stop operations or activities that could harm employees or equipment and report systemic weaknesses or potential risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or an equivalent combination of training and related experience.
• At least two years of occupational health and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Independent judgment and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and reach consensus around common goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to conduct training.
• Ability to organize and present information, data, ideas, and concepts in written or presentation formats.
• Ability to foster teamwork and establish effective working relationships across organizational lines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
