Operational Excellence Partner (Lean Six Sigma)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States; approximately 10–15% travel, primarily between Chelmsford and Wilmington, with occasional travel to other ACT locations worldwide.

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 annual.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and select projects that improve process flow, quality, effectiveness, and cost savings.
• Train and coach Six Sigma Green Belts, Lean Leaders, and project Sponsors.
• Apply statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track project progress, conduct leadership reviews, and report sustainable business results.
• Partner with Operations Excellence colleagues and stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline such as Industrial Engineering, or equivalent proven experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with significant contributions to continuous improvement activities.
• At least 5 years of professional experience leading and coaching improvement teams.
• Experience with project management, cross-functional leadership, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Experience using Lean and Six Sigma methods, statistical analysis, process mapping, value stream mapping, measurement system analysis, capability analysis, line balancing, and one-piece flow.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
