Senior Recruiter (Government)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States; work in the Fairfax office.

Salary: $93,000–$113,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical and cleared roles across multiple government programs.
• Partner with hiring managers and program leadership on staffing priorities, labor categories, and qualification requirements.
• Build forward-looking talent pipelines and identify key personnel for capture and proposal efforts.
• Maintain candidate, requisition, and vendor data in the ADP Applicant Tracking System.
• Coordinate pre-employment processing, onboarding logistics, and compliance actions with HR, Security, and Operations.
• Track recruiting metrics, report trends, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and hirify.global policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting technical and cleared government contracts.
• Strong sourcing skills using Boolean search, job boards, social media, professional networks, and local outreach.
• Experience recruiting and building pipelines for Top Secret-cleared candidates, including understanding clearance processes, adjudication timelines, and candidate engagement strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; ADP is preferred, while Workday or Salesforce is acceptable.

• Experience supporting proposal recruiting, including rapid pipeline development, LOI coordination, and alignment with capture strategy.
• Interest in creative sourcing methods and workforce development in high-demand technical domains.
