Manager, Revenue Accounting (SaaS)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Manage the monthly revenue close and ensure accurate US GAAP financial reporting.
• Oversee revenue accounting under ASC 606, including revenue, deferred revenue, and customer cash reconciliations.
• Partner with Sales Operations, Billing, Engineering, and Product on contract reviews and new product launches.
• Lead and mentor direct reports while establishing clear performance expectations.
• Improve revenue accounting systems, automated workflows, billing procedures, and internal controls.
• Support external audits, prepare revenue flux analyses, and document technical accounting conclusions for non-standard contracts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting and subscription/SaaS business models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• CPA license required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with monthly revenue close workflows.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP and billing platforms such as NetSuite and Stripe, plus Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience managing a team and using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency or output quality.
