About the Role

You will lead long-term technical direction for complex distributed systems and break ambiguous problems into clear paths forward. You will improve scalability and reliability across multiple systems, align teams on major technical decisions, set operational standards, mentor senior engineers, and establish safe, effective ways to use AI tools.

Requirements

• Expertise in building distributed systems
• Experience with Python, Django, React, and Postgres
• Ability to guide technical direction across JVM languages, gRPC, and AWS cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience leading through influence and constructive communication
• Ability to anticipate future roadblocks and build for long-term growth
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Track record of high-level technical leadership

• Identify and eliminate failure patterns across multiple systems
• Drive architectural changes that improve scalability and reliability
