Estimator (Trade Shows & Experiential)

hirify.global designs and builds brand experiences, trade shows, exhibits, branded activations, and permanent installations for clients.

What you will do

• Develop detailed cost estimates for trade shows, exhibits, experiential environments, branded activations, and permanent installations.
• Review proposals, renderings, CAD drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and design materials to complete quantity take-offs and evaluate project costs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Design, Production, and Fabrication teams to clarify scope, validate assumptions, and identify cost considerations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value-engineering solutions while maintaining design intent and quality standards.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and fabrication-partner pricing, and maintain estimating tools, cost databases, and pricing resources.
• Prepare estimates and supporting documentation, communicate assumptions and risks, and support internal reviews and client-facing presentations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience within exhibits, experiential marketing, custom fabrication, museums, themed environments, retail displays, or permanent corporate installations.
• Strong understanding of custom millwork, metal fabrication, construction methodologies, and production and installation processes.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, CAD files, technical design documents, construction details, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly present estimate assumptions, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Business-savvy decision-making and commercial awareness.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
