Supervisor, 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite - Union City, Tennessee, United States. The role requires authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $69,650–$105,850 per year, plus eligibility for performance bonus or variable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Direct hourly associates within a specific manufacturing department and coordinate Team Leaders to meet production schedules, efficiency targets, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Monitor raw materials, production processes, equipment, parts usage, production data, downtime, and operating procedures; take corrective action when needed.
• Review safety, accident, and inspection reports, communicate health and safety requirements, and ensure prompt corrective action.
• Determine weekly manpower needs based on workload requirements and initiate appropriate staffing actions.
• Review subordinate performance against goals, recommend improvements, and provide input on promotions, employment, dismissal, or compensation changes.
• Process employee complaints according to company policy for discussion and review with upper management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with emphasis on high-volume, high-mix manufacturing processes.
• Proven project management and cross-functional relationship skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• An analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
• Leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with all members of the organization.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Glass fabrication experience.
• Experience in an ISO or world-class certified manufacturing environment.
