Auto Claims Representative (Insurance)

Location: Duluth, GA, United States; in-person initial training followed by possible work-from-home flexibility based on job responsibilities and leadership approval. Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle entry-level insurance claims under close supervision throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Study insurance policies, endorsements, forms, and company claim-handling procedures.
• Develop claim negotiation, settlement, estimating, and loss-adjustment skills using designated computer programs.
• Meet and communicate with claimants, legal counsel, third parties, agents, and insureds.
• Complete the company claims training program and develop product knowledge through approved educational programs.
• Study, obtain, and maintain adjuster licenses when required by statute and company or legal timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or direct equivalent experience with property and casualty claims handling.
• Ability to organize data, multitask, make independent decisions, and resolve complex issues.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and correspondence.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security and work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to accurately solve mathematical problems involving geometry, financial calculations, sums, unit costs, and personal or business finance documents.
• Ability to drive an automobile, hold a valid driver’s license, and maintain a driving record consistent with company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
