Senior Civil Designer (Civil 3D)

What you will do

• Lead the design of residential and site infrastructure engineering projects.
• Develop, modify, and review models, plans, details, and engineering drawings using established standards.
• Apply project design criteria to grading, drainage, infrastructure, and other site constraints.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the design and technical aspects of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, CAD designers, technicians, sub-consultants, and project managers on schedules and budgets.
• Perform quality control reviews, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance before external release.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CAD standards and advanced Civil 3D functionality.
• Comprehensive understanding of advanced-complexity residential and site projects, including drainage, grading, and infrastructure constraints.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, CAD designers, technicians, sub-consultants, and project managers.
• Ability to analyze and interpret regulations and criteria issued by local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Ability to identify, interpret, and resolve technical project issues with minimal oversight.
• Ability to conduct business professionally and ethically while serving customers and supporting company objectives.
