Designer II (Civil/Water Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite in Mentor, Ohio, United States; other location: Youngstown, Ohio

Salary: Starting at $70,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Assist with engineering design concepts for water, wastewater, and stormwater improvement projects.
• Prepare detailed design drafts and visual content using Revit, Civil 3D, Civil MEP/Plant, or other relevant design tools.
• Collaborate with staff engineers and project managers to meet project requirements and objectives.
• Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of design drafts and related documents.
• Assist with presentations, design proposals, and research into current design trends and techniques.

Requirements

• Expertise in design software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Civil MEP/Plant, or other relevant design tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to produce accurate and thorough design drafts.
• Ability to maintain organized records of design drafts and related documents.
• Ability to assist with presentations and design proposals.
• Ability to conduct research on current design trends and techniques.

Nice to have

• Civil Engineering Technology or CAD/Drafting Technology degree; equivalent experience will be considered.
