Site Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Location: Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, United Kingdom; based out of the Peterhead site office

What you will do

• Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards on the Eastern Green Link 2 project.
• Supervise assistant engineers and communicate construction information to foremen and gangers.
• Review drawings and specifications, provide setting out, arrange formal checks, and maintain survey books.
• Complete inspection and test plans, carry out material testing and sampling, and take receipt of materials.
• Maintain daily site diaries, prepare four-week programmes, and provide accurate material measurements and reconciliation figures.
• Support measurement and cost coding processes, including checking material delivery tickets.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent NVQ qualification.
• CSCS qualification at Academically or Professionally Qualified Person, Supervisory, or Manager level.
• SSSTS qualification.

Nice to have

• Successful experience at Assistant Engineer level.
• Working towards ICE Technician or Incorporated level, or an equivalent qualification.
