Senior Solutions Engineer (GitHub Advanced Security)

Location: Remote, Australia; travel up to 25% throughout Australia and New Zealand, with occasional travel to APAC and the USA for company events

What you will do

• Support presales activities with enterprise customers, aligning business partners and stakeholders toward technical wins and solution selection.
• Build and maintain customer relationships that support strategic alignment, adoption, and long-term success.
• Identify customer issues, collaborate with technical teams, and deliver proofs of concept and product demonstrations.
• Analyze customer situations, identify gaps hirify.global solutions can address, and contribute to strategic frameworks and roadmaps.
• Develop expertise in hirify.global Advanced Security and advise customers on application security and security program development.
• Design customer solutions and collaborate with sales, account management, and partner teams on strategic account plans.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical, sales, or industry experience; alternatively, a relevant bachelor's degree with 4+ years, a relevant master's degree with 2+ years, a doctorate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Business proficiency in English and effective communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% throughout Australia and New Zealand, with occasional travel beyond the region for company events.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related technical, sales, or industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in digital transformation using software modernization to drive customer business outcomes.
• 3+ years of experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or customer-facing work.
• 5+ years of experience orchestrating technical, support, and/or partner teams.
• Extensive software development industry experience focused on digital transformation and translating complex technical concepts into actionable customer strategies.
• Experience identifying and resolving implementation blockers to improve customer satisfaction and enable successful technology deployments.
