New Product Development Test Engineer (ATE/Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Translate product requirements and datasheets into technical specifications, compliance matrices, design-for-test requirements, and ATE test plans.
• Design cost-effective ATE hardware and resource allocation for silicon bring-up, validation, production release, multisite efficiency, and pin multiplexing.
• Develop, bring up, validate, and debug automated test programs for digital, analog, and mixed-signal integrated circuits on Advantest and Teradyne platforms.
• Analyze test and characterization data covering design margins, process variation, parametric performance, yield, and test-time opportunities.
• Support process-window experiments, silicon and package qualification, specification compliance, product entitlement, manufacturing ramp, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Design, DFT, validation, quality, reliability, customer quality, applications, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing test teams; contribute to test hardware, socket design, schematics, layout, diagnostic code, documentation, and reusable standard test methods.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited degree program.
• Overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication.
• Experience in semiconductor test, design-for-test, or integrated-circuit design.
• Proficiency in one or more of C, C++, Python, or Perl.

• Interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
• Project management, innovation, execution, and ambiguity-navigation skills.

• Experience with Advantest or Teradyne ATE platforms, ATE architecture, and low-level test code.
• Experience testing digital, analog, or mixed-signal integrated circuits; silicon characterization, qualification, or manufacturing ramp.
• Familiarity with automotive, industrial, or commercial semiconductor qualification standards.
