Focus on implementing and validating built-in test features, converting patterns for ATE, and solving test coverage and yield-enhancement challenges with design and test engineering teams.

What you will do

  • Support global design teams in taking microprocessor-based SoC designs from initial test requirements through production.
  • Specify, create, debug, and deliver DFT structural test patterns.
  • Perform pre-silicon verification, ATE pattern conversion, and post-silicon pattern debug.
  • Specify, implement, and validate built-in test features for designs.
  • Support manufacturing test, qualification, yield enhancement, and product performance analysis.
  • Interface with Test Engineering, Product Engineering, and Fab teams.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with 0–2 years of experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in EE, Computer Engineering, CS, EET, or an equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of Python, Verilog, Perl, Tcl, and Unix.
  • Experience with structural test requirements, ATPG, test coverage, fault universe, JTAG, and BSDL.
  • Knowledge of Memory BIST, Logic BIST, DFT logic, semiconductor testing, and DFT tools such as FastScan, DFTCompiler, LBIST, and MBIST.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, collaboration across departments and cultures, and the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet schedules and customer needs.

Nice to have

  • Experience programming or using ATE VLSI testers such as J973, Tiger/Catalyst, UltraFLEX, or Verigy 93000.
  • Knowledge or experience with functional pattern testing.
