Group Financial Controller (Ecommerce)

What you will do

• Lead group-wide compliance responsibilities, plan projects, and manage delivery across workstreams.
• Prepare technical management papers documenting accounting decisions for the Board and Audit Committee.
• Act as the key auditor contact and lead delivery of the hirify.global Group audit, interim reporting, and other reporting requirements.
• Review and deliver high-quality IFRS-compliant financial statements while managing relationships with specialist advisors.
• Improve Group financial controls, challenge existing processes, and lead technology implementation to automate and transform finance processes.
• Mentor junior team members and build strong relationships with divisional teams, FP&A, legal, tax, treasury, commercial teams, and investor relations; report key issues to the Group CFO and Deputy CFO.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with ACA or ACCA qualification and 5+ years of post-qualified experience.
• Understanding of accounting and auditing principles, with strong IFRS technical accounting experience and a keen eye for detail.
• Understanding of financial controls frameworks and process best practice.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to build strong professional networks.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
