What you will do

• Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team on financial strategy, commercial insights, investments, market expansion, and new business opportunities.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, operating plans, cost allocation, KPI management, performance reporting, financial modelling, and scenario analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, cash flow, financial controls, governance, tax and statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and audit coordination.
• Build and lead a lean finance team while improving financial systems, reporting processes, operational controls, and performance management routines.
• Assess investments, new ventures, strategic initiatives, capital allocation, financing strategies, fundraising, M&A, and IPO-related activities where applicable.
• Engage senior executives and cross-functional leaders to improve returns, optimise costs, manage risk, and support sustainable business performance.

Requirements

• Recognised Accounting or Finance degree or relevant certification, such as CPA or an equivalent chartered accountant qualification.
• Proven experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance, or in a similar role.
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and across business units.
• Leadership qualities characterised by integrity, humility, responsibility, and accountability.

Nice to have

• Experience completing IPOs, M&A transactions, capital financing, and fundraising.
