Liability Associate Claim Adjuster (Florida)

Location: Fully remote; must reside in Florida, United States.

Salary: $62,000–$68,000 per year.

What you will do

• Investigate first-party physical damage and third-party automobile, commercial general liability, and other casualty claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Review accident reports, witness statements, repair estimates, policy provisions, and other claim materials; interview claimants, insureds, witnesses, and involved parties.
• Evaluate damages, bodily injury, liability exposure, property damage, loss of use, diminished value, and claim reserves.
• Manage assigned claims from initial report through resolution, including action plans, file diaries, payments, form letters, documentation, and status updates.
• Negotiate settlements, maintain communication with clients and claimants, and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Identify fraud indicators, subrogation and other risk-transfer opportunities, and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Claims adjusting licenses as required by the Florida jurisdiction.
• Must reside in Florida despite the fully remote work arrangement.
• At least 2 years of experience in first-party physical damage, automobile liability, commercial general liability, or closely related claims.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Knowledge of Florida Sovereign Immunity law.
• Ability to maintain dependable attendance and perform responsibilities during established work hours.
