Corporate Accounting Manager (SaaS)

Location: US-REMOTE; full-time remote role working in the MST zone. Annual travel to Salt Lake City, Utah may be required.

Estimated base salary: $110K–$120K annually.

What you will do

• Lead and review complex month-end and quarter-end close procedures, including P&L expense accruals, payroll accounting, royalty accounting, fixed asset and lease accounting, and other technical accounting areas.
• Manage deliverables and mentor a distributed global team of staff accountants while partnering with internal stakeholders on global accounting operations.
• Build and scale accounting processes, including implementing and managing AI agents to automate close tasks and improve team efficiency.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for more than 18 subsidiaries and 130 material accounts while maintaining accurate, SOX-compliant workpapers.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for external auditors and lead cross-functional initiatives involving growth, systems implementations, and M&A integrations.

Requirements

• Advanced accounting knowledge, rigorous attention to detail, and a proven record of maintaining meticulous workpapers.
• Leadership experience managing a global personnel team and complex financial processes independently.
• Strong critical-thinking, solution-focused, and operational efficiency skills, including the ability to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Strong project management skills for overseeing multiple workflows, process improvements, M&A integrations, and audit deliverables.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills with strong data integrity and calculation accuracy.
• Deep understanding of GAAP accounting and extensive experience reconciling complex balance sheet accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Full-time availability in the MST zone; overtime may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, Coupa, and/or Brex.
• Experience implementing AI agents for close procedures, or strong willingness to learn and implement them.
• CPA certification.
