Senior Technical Consultant (Atlassian)

Location: Remote, Italy; candidate must be located in Italy. Travel to client sites may be required for key meetings and events.

What you will do

• Gather and analyze client requirements and propose tailored ITSM and ESM solutions using Atlassian products and ITIL practices.
• Design high-level architectures, configure advanced solutions, and implement portals, request types, workflows, automation, asset schemas, and API connectors.
• Implement service requests, incident, change, and problem management processes, including advanced asset and event management with Assets and Opsgenie.
• Integrate Atlassian products with external systems through REST APIs and occasionally manage migrations.
• Lead client engagements autonomously, develop customer relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support pre-sales through scope definition, estimates, proposals, and high-level solution design while contributing to internal practice development.

Requirements

• Proven consulting experience with a strong focus on the Atlassian toolset.
• Fluent Italian skills, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of ITIL and its application in ITSM and ESM.
• Knowledge of PPM systems and marketplace plugins such as Tempo Suite, Structure/BigPicture, and Zephyr/Xray.
• Ability to lead engagements autonomously, manage customer relationships, communicate with stakeholders, and present solutions.
• Experience supporting pre-sales, particularly during the early sales cycle and in fixed-price packaged offerings.
• Ability to contribute to business development, secure contracts, and ensure billability through effective time management.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, collaboration, creative-thinking, and problem-solving skills; self-starting, ambitious, and tenacious.
• Ability to adapt to evolving business and technology landscapes and embrace new tools and practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with web integrations using REST APIs.
• Scripting experience with Groovy or Python.
• Additional pre-sales experience and experience gathering and analyzing requirements.
• Experience in a fast-paced, fast-growth technology startup environment.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements for application scalability, availability, and security.
