Technical Consultant (Atlassian)

TL;DR

Technical Consultant (Atlassian): Assisting customers in optimizing the Atlassian product suite through system integration and process automation with an accent on solution design and hands-on implementation. Focus on migrations, upgrades, performance tuning, and developing scripting solutions using Groovy and Python.

Location: Must be based in Greece; remote-first with occasional travel to client sites required.

What you will do

• Analyze client requirements to design and recommend optimal Atlassian-based solutions.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations for Atlassian applications and associated technologies.
• Develop custom solution components using Groovy, Python, and ScriptRunner.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with other applications via REST APIs.
• Manage system administration on Linux and Windows servers, including application server tuning.
• Support pre-sales activities by defining project scopes, providing estimates, and producing proposals.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Greece
• Proven experience in technical consulting with a strong background in Atlassian toolsets.
• Proficiency in scripting with Groovy or Python.
• Experience with Linux system administration and Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure setup (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong written and spoken English language skills

Nice to have

• Experience with web integration using REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AI or Atlassian Rovo.
• Experience with GitLab, Monday.com, or ServiceNow.
• Background in fast-paced, high-growth tech startup environments.
