Senior Atlassian Technology Consultant (Atlassian)

Location: Remote (AU), Australia; hybrid/remote arrangement. Preferential consideration is given to candidates based locally to the country’s office. The role is not eligible for visa assistance, sponsorship, or relocation assistance.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality Atlassian solutions, including architectural system design.
• Facilitate customer discussions, identify business and technical requirements, and create implementation plans.
• Advise customers on best practices and support solution rollout, adoption, and scaling.
• Manage customer engagements through scheduling, coordination, communication, and relationship development.
• Contribute as a senior technical advisor, subject matter expert, and community member.
• Support proposals, statements of work, and sales calls as a technical resource.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an Atlassian Consultant, Atlassian Administrator, Jira Administrator, or in a similar position.
• Proven experience implementing Atlassian solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar products.
• Successful customer engagement experience with exceptional consulting and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to take a holistic view across multiple domains.
• Experience analyzing, evaluating, and translating customer requirements into solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including workshop facilitation.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Technical proficiency in command line, preferably Unix, SQL, script development, software configuration, and related skills.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, or Shell Scripting; familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles; experience with UAT testing and test use-case development; and knowledge of cloud technologies.
