Business Systems Analyst (SQL)

Location: On-site at the Support Center on Flank Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112, United States. Minimal travel to stores and distribution centers may be required; evening and weekend work may be needed based on system delivery requirements.

What you will do

• Work with business partners and development teams to implement, optimize, and enhance business solutions.
• Gather, interpret, and document requirements for software design, coding, testing, implementation, and enhancements.
• Document current and future business processes, perform gap analysis, identify issues, and help design maintainable technical solutions.
• Perform quality assurance and testing, review results with developers, and present completed software features to stakeholders for validation and acceptance.
• Contribute to software development techniques, standards, and technical change documentation.
• Manage activities throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle and complete additional assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, or equivalent experience working as a Business Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a member of an Application Development team.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing SQL queries preferred.
• Basic knowledge of generating process documentation.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to IT and business associates.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• Duties frequently involve sitting for extended periods and using computers.
