Business System Analyst (JD Edwards)

Location: Thornton, Colorado; onsite at a company-designated office or field location. Up to 20% infrequent travel may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 per year, paid weekly.

What you will do

• Analyze, enhance, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications supporting accounting, finance, job cost, billing, procurement, subcontracts, and capital asset management.
• Translate business and process requirements into system designs, functional specifications, workflows, use cases, and technical documentation.
• Support implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and the onboarding of newly acquired companies.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Controllers, Operations, developers, business users, and subject matter experts to resolve issues and deliver system improvements.
• Perform data analysis and approved data fixes using E1 queries, Microsoft PivotTables, and SQL.
• Support system testing, user training, technical support, account reconciliation, and SDLC-controlled OMW changes.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience with job cost, profit recognition, and finance applications.
• Extensive JD Edwards E1 knowledge, including Job Cost, Profit Recognition, Service Billing, Contract Billing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Subcontracts.
• Strong understanding of E1 tables, data structures, data dictionary, form extensions, workflows, user-defined objects, project configuration, cost structures, AAIs, and tax setup.
• Experience with software development life cycle processes and OMW promotion.
• Knowledge of JDE ERP systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office, and Excel, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Accounting or finance degree, CPA certification, and PMP certification.
• Experience in construction or high-volume distribution environments.
